No way he falls to the 5th... especially with how well he will do at the underwear olympics. I just hope he has a good showing at the senior bowl.

Anyone who has the Cowboys picking defense in this draft doesn't know what they are talking about.

This statement makes me question if you know what you are talking about. Our biggest needs are OL and DL. Many people are saying they want 1000 lbs of man with the first three picks. We need both interior and exterior Defensive linemen.

Too early. Senior Bowl & pre-draft workouts will determine a lot. If he does well in both the sky is the limit but if he does poorly he could slide to 3rd or 4th round at worst.

Why do you say that? If you think Jerry will look at his team's offense and realize he needs offensive linemen, more offensive weapons or an heir apparent to Tony Romo, you're assuming he has a clue about anything related to football. We have more than two decades of evidence that shows he doesn't.

Agree. They have nothing at DT or DE right now. And the OL woes are very well-documented.

Okay, that is a good point.

My understanding (I think Norm said this) that I kind of buy is that the Cowboys invested in fixing the defense this year. That defense, despite a ton of injuries all over the place, really played well. They just need a bunch of guys up front in the 3-4 not playmakers. I expect the Boise State guy to make a huge contribution in his second year.

The plan has always been to address the offense this year. Bryant is a player. Witten is getting old and they need to look into someone who will step in for him in a couple of years. They need a QB to groom for Romo. They need a RB because they will let Felix walk and the starter although good is very injury prone. And of course they need linemen.

The Cowboys will spend draft picks at QB, RB, WR, possibly TE and multiple OL this year. The early picks specifically are going to be all offense. Sure, they need depth on the DL, maybe LB, and S, but that will come late in the draft. In fact, T Reed and JD would be great pickups late for the cowboys to give them LB depth and excellent special teams players.

Prediction: First round Center, 2/3/4 are G, WR, QB (wouldn't be surprised to see them try and grab Barkley in the second if he is there), get a late RB, LB, DL.

on the DL. they didn't anticipate Josh Brent going to prison for a long time, nor did they anticipate having to let Jay Ratliff go due to ineffectiveness after the year (which i think they will do). they've already needed a DE from day 1 of the season, but the huge need at DT was somewhat unexpected.

Lol. Don't know about Broadus' twitter feed, but he's always a good radio listen.

First round center???? I give that a 0% chance.
