Re: 2013 schedule
SMU's schedule will include the following:
Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Cincy, Rutgers, USF, UCF, Houston, Temple, UConn, Memphis
Probabaly our most difficult schedule since the SWC days. Wow. I think our 4-year bowl streak might be in jeopardy, unless some of the news faces really show up. Should be a good year for attendance though!!
Do Rutgers fans travel well??

Thank goodness for rent-a-fan games against Baylor and Tech.ponyinNC wrote:SMU's schedule will include the following:

Stout. If we win 4 or more of these home games, then the Mustangs will have a great inaugural season in the BE. Time to put on our big boy pants.PonyPlayer4 wrote:Texas Tech, Baylor, Rutgers, UCF, Temple, UConnJunior wrote:any idea which will be home games?

Re: 2013 schedule
Rutgers was to play Boise away and UC was to play SDSU at home so a simple substitution would mean Rugters at home for SMU and UC away. Just a guess.

Re: 2013 schedule
if A&M is cancelled as rumored SMU isn't playing a single Top 25 team. TCU has at least 5 tougher games ( I'm just basing this on last year)-probably 6 -plus 1 common opponent
LSU
OU
Texas
Kansas St.
Baylor
West Virginia (they used to dominate the BE when it was better conference)
Time to put our Big Boy panties on over our 4 straight Bowl Game T-Shirts and play some decent mid-level schools. That was the idea behind the Big East right?

Skipping Louisville could be SMU's biggest break in years. Will the team play well enough in conference games to take advantage of it?ponyinNC wrote:SMU's schedule will include the following:

Re: 2013 schedule
This schedule is brutal. Though it's somewhat unlikely but you guys have the potential to go 0-12 with this.

That's some pretty lame trolling when Memphis is on our schedule.Cougar King wrote:This schedule is brutal. Though it's somewhat unlikely but you guys have the potential to go 0-12 with this.

I see 7-5.
