Super Bowl Week: GREAT Thomas Morstead video interview

Post by HorsePower »

How was this never posted before? (If it was, I apologize for the repeat.)

Fantastic video. Gets in a shot at the Dallas Morning News, as well as a nice nod to Frank Gansz, Sr.

Morstead had a fantastic year. He made the Pro Bowl, set a Saints record for punt avg and net punt avg. But for a long return of one of his punts in the last game of the season, he would have the set the NFL record for net punt yards.

It's been a while since a Pony has made the Pro Bowl. Congratulations to TM!

Awesome. Yeah, it's a couple of years old, but that's a play that will live on in Super Bowl history for years, and it all started with an SMU Mustang.

I must say SMU certainly prepares their players to give good interviews. Morestead was articulate. LeRibeus, Hunt, Zach have all given what I would call superb interviews lately. Wonder if this is something the program teaches or just because these kids are well educated? At any rate thanks for posting.
