Thank goodness. We need that tough rivalry every fall. One day we might even beat them down in Houston. Good to see the Big East step up and get a real nation presence in the conference! And many of us have been worried sick about the lack of a powerhouse in the conference after the Catholic 7 and dang near everyone else left the conference.

Rice is my kind of program. Houston needed a cross-town rival in the conference. Rice fills that bill just fine. I also heard that the conference just heard from James Madison and they're all in for non-football along with LaSalle and Wichita State.
