ESPN Blog:
"Tommy Tuberville closed out his first spring with Cincinnati on Wednesday morning. Shortly afterward, he made his biggest move as the Bearcats' new head coach." Looks like he will play in 2014.

Good. We need quality players who can win big OOC games and get our new conference on the map. Just hope he throws five picks when he plays us.

Re: Gunner Kiel to Cincy
Here are some comments about Gunner from one of our sports guys up here in Cincinnati.
Things I'm told by those I know at Notre Dame and in South Bend:
*He's got a cannon for an arm...wait until you see him sling it
*I think the lesser spotlight of Cincinnati will help him.
*A cross between Jeff George and Jimmy Clausen. Million $ arm and......
*He seems to be getting really bad advice from family.
*I do think he can play so if he gets his head on straight should be a nice pickup for the Bearcats.
*I think it's big he can sit, watch, learn and take a deep breath for a year.
*Mom and Dad are the classic "in control of the situation" parents.
*being around him seemed nice..didn't have an ego.
*blown away by his physical strength for a FR.
*had a pair of running plays in Blue Gold game last spring where he lowered shoulder and ran through a linebacker and safety.
*Had the strongest arm on team. I think accuracy and learning to take a little something off the football is what he needed to work on.
*never understood why he came here because of the non-pro style offense Kelly ran.
*many schools turned off by his jump around mentality.
*has a terrific skill set. If he grows up and Tommy tweaks a couple of things..I could see Gunner playing 2 years at Cincinnati and then off to the NFL.
