I love the fact that they're putting pressure on the returning receivers with both newcomers and position-changers.

Frankly, if last year's backups couldn't get on the field with the starters' performance being that sorry, it's tough to imagine any of them having a big impact this year either.

No. He has always had a laid-back style, even when he got us to our first bowl game in a couple of decades and most of us were going crazy in a sports bar. No coaches get fired up about spring game interviews, do they?

Didn't realize that -- my mistake. But he has always been pretty mellow since I have known about him.

Either way, it would be unrealistic to think that he'd be fired up about a spring game when he keeps a really even keel during the season, regardless of the outcome of a game.

I actually like that about June. It gets a bit tiring and obnoxious watching coaches who feel like they always need to yell at players and get in the refs faces. Kind of reminds me of Tom Landry in that way. He's been there before. Calm, cool and collected on the sideline. Nothing ruffles him too much. Just a lot more professional approach IMHO.

What the Hades gives? Did I see a Mustang on June's hat!? OMG he is supporting and promoting SMU! His comments were enlightening in that he praised so many players and felt comfortable with certain areas of the team. In the past things haven’t been so balanced and rosy. And he seemed thrilled with some players. Note they didn’t show the QB run stuff to tip their hand to the early opponents.

Relax ... he wears a Mustang cap a vast majority of the time.

You're right, though. He does seem very confident with some of the position groups, even some of those that have suffered considerable losses to graduation in recent years.

Dude, chill. That's sarcasm for some others that read this thread.
I’ve had my fair share of ‘comments’ for supporting Jones.
