TCU Big 12 Defensive player of year suspended
TCU suspends Big 12 defender of the year Devonte Fields for two games
FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU defensive end Devonte Fields has been suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season due to an unspecified violation of "university and team policy."
Coach Gary Patterson announced the suspension of the Big 12 defensive player of the year in a one-sentence statement Wednesday. Patterson didn’t immediately return a message left on his cellphone. School officials had no further comments or details about the statement.
As a freshman last season, Fields had 18 1/2 tackles for losses and 10 quarterback sacks. Along with being voted the league’s top defender, he was the Big 12 defensive newcomer of the year.
The Horned Frogs open Aug. 31 against LSU at Cowboys Stadium. They play Southeastern Louisiana at home the following week.
I am asking if any of our Frog friends have heard the reason he was suspended .

Unless he pulls a Sumlin and decides the first two games are really just any two games on the schedule that he thinks they can win without him.

So you'd say GP has it all under control at this point?FroggieFever wrote:I wouldn't ordinarily argue this, but a pound amongst eighteen potheads isn't a mind blowing amount of weed. So they ONLY discovered 128 times what the typical college student would purchase at one time.
The majority of marijuana seized was found one one individual who was obviously selling. The overwhelming majority, however, was in quantities arguable for personal consumption (though also legally enough for intent to distribute).
