The new coaches both seem like great hires. Young, energetic, team-first guys.
I had no idea CBL had such an extensive background as a head coach and coordinator. My guess is that these guys will be a great addition to the staff.

Seems like a good guy with an interesting background. Not his fault, but it is depressing that no one has told him what his recruiting responsibilities are yet.
Re: PonyFans.com VIDEO: Special team coach Carlos Barocio-Le
There's no question this guy knows football. I'm liking this hire more and more.

I noticed that too. You would think San Antonio and south since he is from Mexico. Seems he would do well in that area.Grant Carter wrote:Seems like a good guy with an interesting background. Not his fault, but it is depressing that no one has told him what his recruiting responsibilities are yet.

I would think the veteran coaches would be assigned their areas first and they have been waiting 5 years.Rebel10 wrote:I noticed that too. If I were in the SMU athletics marketing, I'd be picking his brain/asking for his help in reaching out to the Mexican-American community in Dallas to promote SMU football to that community. Maybe he can help.

Re: PonyFans.com VIDEO: Special team coach Carlos Barocio-Le
looks like he has all the right connections to make a swell soccer coach but none of the right connections to address the real problem on this staff. Yet another in a long line of bewildering hirers by June Jones. Larry Brown gets "it" and June doesn't even know what "it" is.

Right, except for the fact that he's a football coach.Stallion wrote:looks like he has all the right connections to make a swell soccer coach but none of the right connections to address the real problem on this staff.
