Beachum's role subject to change, says Tomlin

After playing all five positions across the offensive line in the first few weeks of training camp, second-year player Kelvin Beachum has been working exclusively at tackle recently. Is that a sign that Beachum is pushing Marcus Gilbert or Mike Adams for a starting job?
Coach Mike Tomlin did not shut the door Thursday on that possibility.

This theme of versatility seems to repeat itself over and over with SMU players in the NFL these days. I've got to hand it to June and Co., they really do know how to prepare these guys to play NFL football, and they teach them the tools to stick and succeed in the league. I'm kind of amazed at the number of undrafted free agents and low draft picks from SMU that have made a good go of it in the NFL.
