New TCU Uniforms - Ugh

Don't get me wrong, I really like TCU's normal uniforms and love the all white road. But hate what they do for their openers. The newest version is hideous. Easy for you to find on twitter.

I understand that recruits like ghetto-looking uniforms. But I hope we never do that, or black jerseys.

Maybe, just maybe, they're paying tribute to us guys. They respect us so they want to wear our colors

For the record, I never had a problem with our black jerseys, but the reasoning was still hilarious

They're OK for an all-black look occasionally, but that helmet's bad - replace with a mean frog face.

The red symbolizing the urban legend that horned frogs spit blood from the corner of their eye..I like it splashed throughout.

I concur. The all black is fine and dandy but the helmet is hideous. I am sure some Nike designer came up with the look but ultimately the team signed off on it. Reminds me of the Jamie Fox movie, Any Given Sunday, with the made up football teams and 'edgy' uniforms - gross.

Purple is terrible. Tcu blows, and can't stand how they have progressed. No matter though, because they will always be frogs.

I don't like the amount of black myself but the players and recruits seem to like them. Ironically I actually like the helmets. I will say that TCU has figured out how to promote these things...check out the tcu uniform video on YouTube....it's pretty cool.
