Texas Tech Team Summary

Post by Stallion »

pretty good summary-the writer gets some respect on Tech boards:

I bet he does. He might as well be courting KK...

As good as the receiving corps is, can a team with questions on the OL, a QB who hasn't played, questions at LB and a shaky secondary really be expected to grab 8 wins?

I will take some questions at WR, a veteran QB, and very good/deep LBs and Secondary over that any day.

Aggie$ had a QB who hadn't played last year. I remember everyone thinking "now is the time for us to get them"

Yeah some people tend to overrate our talent and underrate our opponent's. We switch places with Tech and we go 0fer in the Big 12.

Why don't we just forfeit and then we can stop worrying about another humiliating lose.

What he said. I don't think I will bother attending this debacle.

5 different defensive coordinators at Tech in the last 5 years.
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

Just heard some Tech commentators say that they were the most concerned about Tech's O Line.

Unbelievable that not one person was thinking the Aggie Freshman QB would win the Heisman.

IIRC red shirt freshman...right? Small difference I guess, but not totally wet behind the ears.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
