Same reason there's that ridiculous rule on here about linking to articles.
Install the Adblock extension for Chrome, Firefox, or Safari and be done with it.

Re: UT MBA
I haven't seen the ad in question, but I do get really pumped when I get the Taylor Swift Keds ad!
I went to check them out but unfortunately they don't come in men's sizes even though some of them look pretty cool.

I've seen Bauer College of Business (UH) ads but no UT or TCU ads.

Yes, it really happened. I think it was in the 2nd quarter. I had a few beers before the game so my memory is just a little foggy
but everyone I was with couldn't believe he actually said that
"That's a first down for the Longhorns" or something like that.

It was with 1 second remaining in the 2nd quarter. It was something like "And with one second remaining in the 2nd quarter, the Longhorns have a first down!"

Re: UT MBA
I think the better question is why the [expletive] are all of our commercials during games for the last two years 100% computer animated?!!! When you have one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation (especially with recent additions), a view of the Dallas skyline, and gorgeous girls walking around, you DO NOT show computer animated commercials... Show people damn SMU! Not a stick figure with thought bubbles.

You will notice that ad pop up in many locations that you visit on the web. It has nothing to do with ponyfans - it is because you visited an MBA website (perhaps Cox) and the cookies are now allowing all MBA progams to target you with ads.gostangs wrote:Why do we allow a pop up ad on our website to advertise a competing MBA program? The ads you see on sites (like this one) are essentially placeholders for ds that essentially target you based on your prior browsing or google search history.
