In short, Saban was bullying the reporters and he can get away with it. This is what happens when you are untouchable.

Honestly, the folks that investigated this didn't even talk to him? He wants folks to believe he didn't read about it. OK, maybe. But does he really expect a decent press corps to accept that the university's investigation excluded questioning the head coach?

Bill made a statement and never once was Nick Saba asked about the situation prior to the statement’s release. To quote Dr. Evil, ‘Riiiiiiggghhhtt!"

But I bet the statement makes crystal clear sense to the NCAA.
