Word is that Alabama, those of plain red and white jerseys, are going to have a black out and wear black jerseys. They put out a "prototype" for sale and advertised it as a replica of what would be worn at the black out. Black jersey with off-black numbers outlined in crimson. Trouble is the numbers could not be seen and apparently someone jumped the gun with the announcement. So now the jerseys are being marketed differently ( I do not remember how) but word still is out there that Alabama is going to go with the black jerseys in a game this year. When has not been announced.

Duke's black uniforms (speaking of both FB and BB) are awesome. I loved the SMU black uniforms, nevermind the "honoring" stuff. It's part of the game, and SMU needs to do it.

I thought SMU blacks were terrible. If you are going black, get rid of the red and white stripes and add black pants. The black helmet would have been nice but the white helmet would have been ok with black pants and no stripes. It looked like a half assed attempt to do black in my opinion.

Really dont think anyone could wear that in a game, the number has to be clearly visible.
