He's really great. I'm very confident with everything he does. I love when he runs the ball. He is the main reason we have won the games we have and stayed close in others. I'm not going to think right now about this being his last year on The Hilltop. I'm going to enjoy his outstanding play and leadership the rest of the year. Then later playing on Sundays. I know his parents and I see where he gets his character and all the strong positive traits that he has. I can't wait to see what else Garrett has up his sleeve for the rest of the season!

He is the first national star we have had in decades. If this continues, his celebrity power will increase and so too interest in SMU.
Many folks didn’t really know or care about A$M till Johnny Football got so many headlines. Star power sells. And GG just might help us with his rising star power.
I just hope this team sees the potential and improves enough to make this a dream season. If so, SMU might, just might, shed the ghost of DPs past.
