Kevin Pope update

Post by PonyPride »

I ran into (OK ... "spoke with") Kevin Pope yesterday. Pope, of course, missed Saturday's victory over Temple after leaving the previous game at Memphis with a strained hamstring. Pope warmed up on the field before the Temple game, but said he did no lobbying with the coaching staff to play, although he said he "could have played, if I had to." Pope said he has resumed running and will play in two weeks against Cincinnati.

Thanks for the update. He is very much needed. Yenga did well in the middle but is better suited for the outside position at this point in the season. Pope is well suited to pllay the middle.

This is very good. Now we need to trade for a safety.
