[deleted] aside, tomorrow is the last game of the season. We win, we go to a bowl game. We have been in this boat before. We have had times we wished we were in this boat. We have never won so many games that we should not be happy with an SMU win.

As it turns out, I was supposed to be out of town this weekend at a lacrosse tournament in Austin. That tournament's been postponed. I shall brave the cold and attend the football game. I will sit in Mrydel's seats whether he likes it or not. I will cheer on the Mustangs. Why? Because I like it! I like SMU football! And so do you! June or no June, I cheer for the school I attended.

I was an SMU fan about 44 years before June was the Head Coach and hope to be a fan for 44 years after June Jones leaves. I never get boycotting football coaches. Could be Fun. 2013 Ice Bowl Championship on the Frozen Tundra of Ford Stadium. You know someday you will claim you went so why not just go.
