Rice (10-3) and Tulane (7-5) are much easier places to win and recruit to. They don't require a $2M dollar man as head coach.

For one thing, I know SMU or the AAC don't pay June's salary. What I am saying is that there is no return on that investment. The guy costs the boosters 2 M and the program generates 4M plus whatever money we make on ticket sales ( ) and other sources of revenue...

How much do we get from UCF's Fiesta Bowl appearance this year?

Payout is around $17M/team, I think. Doesn't UCF get half and the other half is distributed amongst the other AAC teams? By my calculations: $17M/2/9 teams= $944,444.44 for SMU. I'm sure it's not actually divided that evenly, but still not a bad pay day. We can at least buy some new uniforms with that!
