Needing a vote of confidence, too: SMU head coach June Jones
Jones has hit a wall in Dallas, one that he and his program are struggling to scale. With Saturday’s loss to UCF, the Mustangs finished below .500-and outside the bowl picture-for the first time since 2008. While Jones has done a tremendous of building a foundation at SMU, the whispers about his future are growing increasingly louder.
