Bball next year

I think the basketball team will be great next year under certain circumstances. If Dement gets a tough schedule, if Dement gets control of Sasser and the crazy shots the teams take. I cant wait until next year, new FB team and hopefully a revitalized Bball team. Also, does anyone know Bball's email address, we need to get him to Ponyfans.com!

Agreed - the Mustangs will be better next year, and they may even be true if Sasser goes pro. His talent will be hard to replace, but his shoot-at-all-costs mentality hurt at times this season. Either way, WillieD, Hancock, Floyd, QRoss (and don't forget Nigel Smith) will be a year older and stronger.

Now we just need a tougher out-of-conference schedule, and off we go!

A tougher non conference schedule is definetly what we need, especially at home. If Dement has trouble scheduling better teams, how about getting us in some of the better tournaments with a shot at the big boys. If my memory is correct, the SMS tournamet is the only one we played last year.
