or any other students who post, do you have any idea what we should expect the student attendance to be like Saturday?

Student turnout should be pretty good considering we're in the middle of break. I'm driving up from San Antonio and several of my friends from Houston, Austin, etc. are doing the same. I'd imagine many in-state and most DFW students will be making it to the game, and considering they only have 750 tix allotted to students, we should look pretty good down there in the lower level.

Beat UCONN!!

I worry 750 were given out, but won't make the trip back to dallas if another offer comes along.
Hopefully they are just as excited as we are.

What is everyone doing before the game? Trying to decide if I want to grab lunch before or show up early and eat in my seat and enjoy the view.

ponydawg,
It's my understanding that in the new Moody the student tickets will be tracked. If they aren't used the person who received the ticket will be unable to receive tickets to games moving forward. I'm not exactly sure the details but there is some kind of system in place.

You are right. I believe there is a penalty.

Get rowdy students. Come early, be loud, wear red.

If i'm not mistaken, Duke does something along the same lines but they have a season ticket lottery and if you miss more than 1 game, you lose eligibility for the lottery.

I like it.

My wife has a similar system in place at our house. I lost my eligibility for the "lottery" at my house a while back.

I don't believe that all 750 were allotted for the UCONN game, however the ticket office told me that they gave out much more than they expected.

I expect 400 students would be a good estimate, but I do worry that a lot of students claimed the tickets and won't end up going.

It's really going to be interesting, because I honestly have no idea who will show up. Obviously Garland was not a good litmus test, so I guess we will just see.

I will be there, and most of my fraternity brothers from the DFW area should be there as well. Lets hope for a big turnout!!

They have to be accompanied by a student id or returned 24 hrs prior to tip, otherwise the original student loses ability for future games.

I have all my roommates tickets who are going to be out of town (including Fresno's) and I'm bringing friends in their place (4 total). They will be drunk, and they will be rooting for the ponies.
