Speaking of which, he sent me this analysis of the Ponies' newest recruit, PF Patrick Simpson (6-8, 215, from Denver, Colo.)
"According to Prepstars, this guy can freakin play. Allow me to paraphrase
their analysis of him:
Very atheltic 210 pounder, who sprints the floor for monster jams and
blocked shots. His mid-range jumper is flat but affective to 14 feet, and
he has polished post moves that result in baskets and trips to the foul
line. He's already a good rebounder and will improve more as he gains
strength. He shoots 65% from the field and 70% from the foul line. "
