To the blue hairs...

Post by SMULaxer »

...sitting behind me in 214 yelling at me and my four guests to sit down...

No. This was a huge game. We were putting on a clinic. Now, I will stand every minute of every game purely out of spite. Thanks for carrying SMU through the down years but you're no longer needed. Go watch from you couch because I will be standing and I will be loud.

Enjoy yourself-support the team. Stay home if you don't like fans standing at Basketball games

You're telling the fans who were there through the lean years they're "no longer needed"?

Very nice. If anything, they deserve a little extra appreciation for sticking it out when so many went AWOL on the program.

That was one of the great human highlite films in SMU History-if you can't stand up and support the team in a game like this then when can you. The team-Markus Kennedy and Nick Moore come to mind-wanted the fan show of support. There was a long list of some of the Top recruits in the country there. I could care less about some bluehair that doesn't respond to the team in that situation. And besides the seats aren't "premium seats" so might as well :D

I don't feel that we need to run ANY fan off; at the same time no one needs to kill anyone's buzz by telling them to sit down. Both sides need to compromise here.

We should stand and yell. Some of us blue hairs do that. No one better tell me to sit.

they will eventfully give up telling you to do that. its college basketball not an opera. Stand up when it is right time to do so or just don't renew next year. i would not be surprised if we have 5 - 6000 full season tickets next year.
