Re: All remaining home games officially sold out
That 15 minute segment and tickers on 1310-The Ticket certainly helped the advertising for the Houston game. Perhaps this will also help put butts in the soldout seats.

If the Houston game has half of the atmosphere of Cincy, I will be elated. Pony UP!!

SMU just announced their final 3 home games at Moody are sold out. No matter how hard SMU tries football will never reach this type of mania

Never is a long time.
What if the football team beat a # 17 Baylor, #23 TCU and a #7 Texas A&M.....
And had the top ranked QB coming in the next year with a good shot at all the top talent in the Dallas area.
Yeah, I bet SMU football would be on fire and a tough ticket!
People come to see you win.

Re: All remaining home games officially sold out
Heard two folks at the golf course today complaining that they tried to get tickets for any game and couldn't. They asked me if I'd been to a game yet...and what it was like...

Re: All remaining home games officially sold out
Has SMU basketball ever sold out in one season the number of games we have this year? Guessing that in the old SWC days, sellouts were against Arkansas/UT were the crowd was 70% fans for the visiting team. The current sellouts seem to be 95% SMU fans with a few fans for the visitors. What a "dream" season this is!

Never? We quadrupled our basketball attendance in 9 months. Never?
Get the right coach who hirers the right staff who recruits the right players and everybody will wonder why we built such a small stadium.
Never is the kind of stuff you heard at TCU and Baylor before they found the right coach

It has been proven that the students and local media will latch on to a winner and a coach with a passion for the program. Football can get there...It's no worse off than basketball was 3 years ago when we were scoring 28 points a game and losing to UAB and Marshall.
Honestly, as bad as June is right now he's no worse than Doh in his last few years here.
