What is the basic difference between Rugby League & Rugby Union?

Not sure if this is a serious question or not. Rugby league is more like football. You get a set number of downs and when tackled retain the ball. Union is that when the tackled player releases either team can claim it. You keep the ball until you lose it in a tackle, loose it by knocking it forward etc. there are no real scrums in league. I think they are uncontested so the team putting the ball in retains the ball.
