Props to SMU for promotions again
Just got a young alumni email about first 100 young alumni who donate 75 bucks to Mustang Club earning the right to buy 2 SMU-Louisville tickets. $150 donation and ticket purchase earns entrance to halftime reception in Hall of Fame Club (we do use it for things!) plus 2 people who donate to any area of SMU will win Larry Brown autographed basketball.
And the email was "sent from" Larry Brown.
Bravo, alma mater. Might as well give credit where credit is due.

thats great.I have been waiting for this kind of stuff for years and years. Connect with the Young Alums and advertise the Mustang Club. most have no idea it exists. Winning cures all...$75 is nothing and helps them get up to date on happenings.

Got that email. If I hadn't already had season tickets I would have jumped on it.

We have about 2 or 3 generations of fans we need to recover.

Man I notice it even more at Basketball games-that's a "mature" crowd at least where I'm sitting

I'm in 214 and most of the people around us are in the 30-40 range. I've seen more people I had classes with at SMU basketball games this year than I ever have inside Ford (The Boulevard doesn't count).
Back off Warchild seriously.

It's still an older crowd, for sure, especially in the high $$$$ areas.
That said, I've seen more people in their 20s at Moody this season than any other time since I graduated a few years ago.

^This. Up in the cheap seats around me have been younger to my age. May the old timers can't get up the stairs that high.
Anyway. Good program. We need to break down the fans into segments. The mid range SMU alums has not had near the amount of misery as us old timers so will be easier to attract. Also, more long term benefit to get them on bard now.

Heck, just getting the students to show up put more people 'in their 20s' in the stands.

Re: Props to SMU for promotions again
I am an old timer that has to climb a lot of steps to get to my seats. I have decided, however, I need to start peeing in the aisle so I do not have to make the climb but once. So please accept my apologies in advance.
