Son of former SMU star headed elsewhere

The DMN reported today that Bracey Wright - a guard at The Colony and the son of former SMU star Carl Wright - has narrowed his choices to Kentucky, UCLA, Indiana and Tennessee. mm.com says offered a "soft" commitment to the Hoosiers. We need to figure out how to make him want to stay home and play for dad's alma mater.

That sucks. He's a stud. He should follow his old man to SMU.

I would like to see it also, but am afraid that Carl doesn't have such a liking for SMU. His career never really took off, and I know he had mixed relations with Coach Bliss at the time.

Time has come for SMU to heal a lot of old wounds from the dark days.
