Obviously this could change significantly based on transfers out (esp. if there's a new coach), but I only counted eight guys on here that I think are scholarship seniors...if so, that could make for a pretty small class.

If I remember correctly, June said at signing day this years class would be significantly smaller than the 2014 class.East Coast Mustang wrote:Obviously this could change significantly based on transfers out (esp. if there's a new coach), but I only counted eight guys on here that I think are scholarship seniors...if so, that could make for a pretty small class.

Re: Size of 2015 football class
Eight is about right. They also have 3 greyshirts that will take some of those 8.
I am sure there will be some players who have been here 4 years, and will be asked to move on if they are not contributing and have graduated.
Unless there is a mass additional exodus, 8-10 is likely about right.
Last years team was VERY young. About 20-25 juniors and seniors.
We will see who "grows up" and shows they can play this year.

It will change significantly. Even if June stays we're not signing a small class since he will "make room" just like he did last year.

I counted 11 scholarship Sr's
I am sure 2-3 more will graduate and be asked not to return to the football team and then figure a handfull of attrition/transfers.

Do not worry. We have only one commit so far (a good one, fortunately). At this pace, we will have no problem with oversignings.
