Gilder and Thomas together

In the free Billy Embody story (http://smu.scout.com/story/1436871-free ... -six?s=357) Admon Gilder and Elijah Thomas are trying to play together. Pertinent quote below. Do you think this helps or hurts SMU odds with these guys? I would think it helps since SMU seems high on each of these.

Gilder's best friend is Elijah Thomas a highly touted prospect that SMU is after. Gilder was honored and happy to share the court with other top prospects, especially Thomas.
"We have a great chemistry. We've known each other for a long time," Gilder said. "He's one of the best big men in the country and I'm one of the best shooters in the country."
Thomas and Gilder talk everyday about playing together.
"If it happens, it happens, but most definitely right now we are trying to play together and go to the same school," Gilder said. "Yes sir, very interested (in playing for SMU)."
Gilder will take his officials then sit down with his parents and decide on a school.
"It will be great. I won't have to go through high school worrying about all these different colleges."

The one that scares me is OSU, but yes it definitely helps a lot.

Gilder cut his list today per Rivals. I don't have a Rivals sub anymore so I'm not sure if SMU made the cut??

my guess... SMU and Baylor get a very nice pair in either Tyler Davis/Mickey Mitchell or Gilder/Thomas.

SMU and Baylor can clean up this year.

Mitchell probably isn't coming here, and while I still think we land Eli, I'm getting more and more paranoid about not getting Gilder.

Maybe it's just me trying to temper my expectations because I really thought we would land Davis. A&M of all places.... F that
