He will go to a P5 school.
Re: Chad Morris
Our best shot at him was when JJ was going to ASU......I'd guess we missed our chance.

Re: Chad Morris
You say that but he is still there.
Re: Chad Morris
We missed the boat on him (should have hired him in 2011), obviously we have to kick the tires anyway but he's been a finalist for the Tech and Vandy jobs and he makes 1.3 million dollars a year as Clemson's OC. His next stop will be a P5 school.

His next stop will be who offers him the most money.

We could be competitive I believe.

Re: Chad Morris
Morris is going to a power five and the fact that he's already making $1.3 million as a coordinator says we won't be competitive.
There is no guarantee that the salary being paid to June is matched next season anyway. Maybe donors are getting a little tired of flushing money down the drain.

You don't know what we will be until the time comes.

I'm all for hiring a young guy but a 29 year old!? Wouldn't he be the youngest FBS coach by 4 years?

Age does not equal talent. They run a system that is proving to be successful and they are recruiting the best kids in the state. I would give him a shot. Every program in Texas has surpassed us and proven you can recruit and win big in this state...why not us?

Re: Chad Morris
Never said it does or doesn't equal talent but a little experience does count for something. I don't know anything about this guy. I'm asking, what has he done to get everyone so excited?
