Foster is a long, smooth, athletic wing. He can finish above the rim on the break and slashes in between defenders in the half-court set where he can finish with either hand. Foster is an excellent perimeter rebounder, especially on the offensive end where he must be boxed out because he runs down offensive rebounds from distance for back breaking tip-ins. Foster is also a good passer when he draws a second defender as he attacks the rim. Foster has great upside and clearly his best playing days lie ahead.

The book on new SMU commit Jarrey Foster is similar to Duke wing Rasheed Sulaimon. Big wing that shoots it, handles and very athletic.

ACL injury. As the story mentions, his recovery is going well and was getting interest from Baylor, Texas and A&M.
