Time to start thinking about a Mack Brown program
Well, what are the opinions? If Mack took the job, would he be successful? If he had 8 years and a coach in waiting, could he turn SMU into a championship team within the AAC?

Did you miss the last two months of conversation on this? For some inexplicable reason most think he is a washed up old failure who can't coach or recruit

I've read the posts, and wanted to revive the debate because SMU is heading in that direction.

It's his job if he accepts.

Pretty sure his last four seasons are why most think he's a washed up old failure who can't coach or recruit. For some inexplicable reason some people think those seasons don't matter and Mack is still the best coach ever.

He's better than anything we have right now recruiting wise.
