I'm sure I'll catch grief from others for posting this, but have seen others on the board that haven't seen the replay.
But, that is offensive pass interference. Period. The receiver, Davis, had already been called for PI in the 2nd quarter on the same play, just 20yds further down field.
Again, I won't argue that we never should have been in that situation, nor have to rely on a refs judgement call....
All I see is a CB that got outmuscled and outpositioned completely on the play. They aren't going to call PI in situations like that unless it's a mugging.

He was in position -he just got pushed away. A gutless no call by the linesman.
If our guy had flopped, he might have gotten that call; once they had the separation, there was no way he was going to recover in tie to break up that pass. Live and learn
The Field Judge standing at the corner pylon had that receiver as his key all the way in CCA mechanics. Definitely OPI. He just didn't have the guts to make the call. Should have replayed the down with it being 4th and goal from the 19 after penalty enforcement. Watching from my seat in the opposite end zone, I couldn't believe how that guy got so open. Seeing the replay from a much closer view, now I see how.
