Our student section is that end, and student overflow is up top above that. If it's a big game, it will fill. But most of the time, the students don't make the drive from campus to downtown

Haha I knew that would be insinuated. That's not what i was saying. I already said in the other thread I've just been trolling yall and rolling with the punches. I'm glad SMU has gotten better at hoops. It helps the league. I don't know, don't take this as a shot Bc it's not, but SMU isnt a "get up for" game just yet. I believe yall are getting there, though. That's why there wasn't a huge student turnout tonight. I'm sure uconn and Cincy fans would describe it the same way.

I would compare it to this. Since we've sucked at football for the past decade, nobody's fans really turned out to see their team play us this year, even though we were 1st in the conference. A few more years of us doing that, and that will change. SMU basketball is like that. Next year, I'm sure yall will become marquee games on conference mates' schedules
