This is officially a geezer post. What is a hood doughnut and why does Deion, Jr. like them so much?

A store that has a sign that just says "Donuts" or "Doughnuts" and not a chain like Dunkin.

Well, I'll take Dunkin before Krispy Kreme and I'm certainly a geezer rather than hip. But there is a little shop near the Atlanta airport with donuts I like before all others. Inasmuch as there are several Hispanic businesses nearby maybe I should say dona barrio, although the folks who run the place I'm thinking of are not of that heritage.

I would kill for some donuts not made by Dunkin. They are in my office building. They are on virtually every major corner in town. Their donuts blow. They are the Tony's Pizza of donuts.

This whole episode was covered on "The Five" on Fox News Channel. Juan said more power to big Deion for tweeting to his son who plays football at SMU. Pretty cool. Good PR including pic of little Deion in Mustang uniform.

Lil Deion gets his haircut once a week when his barber visits him at home. The cape is black with an SMU logo w peruna. Thumbs up

Here is a shop in ST. Louis (Maplewood, a burb of STL) that if you like donuts should be checked out.....

BTW - Cowboy Up in Preston Center (or Frisco) should be checked out if looking for a haircut. Reasonable price - plus a cold Shiner Bock while you wait. And lets just say that the scenery is pretty good there...

I will never go back to Culwell and Sons .... Perhaps we need a haircut wars thread.
