Cinco Ranch pulled off a big upset 27-24 in key match up with last year's 6A runner up Cy Ranch behind two key blocks at point of attack by Corey Rau which resulted in 2 TDs including a long TD run. Rau is playing that H-Back position. He also caught a pass for 8 yards. Kid is going to be a tough blocker at H-Back. Cy-Ranch the opponent was QBed by SMU commit Collin Rock

updated 9/4 highlites-actually had 6 catches for 83 yards. I think SMU fans are underrating what a great prospect this kid is. He is the perfect H-Back for the SMU's offense. 6-4 Size, athleticism and a great receiver and blocker. I see this guy as an immediate contributor and 3 year starter

Corey Rau had 2 catches for 79 yards 1 TD as Cinco Ranch improves to 8-0. The TD was on a beautiful deep swing pass which Rau caught in stride and the big guy shows great speed to take it to the house. If these stats are right he's averaging about 18 yards per catch which is pretty outstanding for an H-Back. He'll be contributing in Game 1 next year both blocking and in passing game

Corey Rau takes a short pass 48 yards to the house-finished with 3 catches for 66 yards-so excited about this kid-he could be a young Whitten type-plus he is great in running game. This is a definite 3 star caliber player-don't care what Rivals says. Cinco Ranch remained unbeaten at 9-0
