Volleyball: SMU at UC Santa Barbara Invitation

The Mustangs (5-1) have a huge weekend in California at the UC Santa Barbara Invitation.

SMU faces host UCSB (4-2) Friday night at 9pm.

Saturday, SMU meets both No. 18 San Diego (5-1) at 1pm and No. 17 Ucla (4-1) at 9pm.

SMU wins the first set over UCSB 25-22.

Ucla defeated San Diego in the early match today in four sets (25-13, 24-26, 25-21, 25-23).

The Bruins are now 5-1 and the Toreros fall to 5-2.

The Mustangs go up 2-0 on UCSB with a huge second set winning 25-13.

Abbey Bybel leads the Mustangs with 10 kills. Avery Acker has 23 assists.
