Sounds like a 5 year post season ban would be logical and proportional. You HAVE to assume that Pitino knew and was fully involved right? Lack of atmosphere of compliance...x5. Jeff Goodman on Van Pelt show says Pitino may not have known what was going on since he is 60 years old and not as hands on as he used to be. Called it plausible deniability. Nobody in the media seemed to be giving LB any allowances but it is far more plausible that a lead recruiter such as Maligi whose job it is to close deals could have acted alone, but sorry Louisville, Directors of BBball Ops do not act alone and with discretion on recruiting.
