Does the decision by Notre Dame's Chris Thomas to drop out of the draft and go back to school affect Q's status at all? Somehow I don't think so, seeing as how Thomas is a PG and Q is a 2guard, but I heard somebody on the radio (imagine - talking SMU basketball in June!) saying Ross just moved up because a team that really needs a guard will take a shot at him.

I doubt it affected Q's status much. I don't think Thomas was considered one of the top point guards in a draft that is pretty heavy at that position. Fortunately, Thomas made the right decision (like Arizona's Jason Gardner a few years ago when all his teammates were coming out that same year) and he'll be one of the marquee players in the college game. I just wish more kids would follow his lead.

Doesn't affect Q at all. Any team that wanted Thomas is in need of a point guard - and that's not Q. This decision means nothing, good or bad, to Q.
