Froling is the first HS big under LB
Ben is the only other HS recruit we've landed over 6'6" since LB has been at SMU. That's interesting. BTW, im not complaining because MK, Yanick and JT were/are all great but it's nice to finally get a HS big.

This dude is legit. Can fill it from deep. Put him in that high post offense. Play off of him and see what happens

Man, this commitment has me pumped for next season!

Just nobody tell Guangdong about our new commit
Re: Froling is the first HS big under LB
I think Ben was considered a big being 6'8 but Froling is the tallest HS player we had.

Love the kids quotes..ΓÇ£Tom Wilson is my best mate and we were roommates at the Australian Institute of Sport so it will be great to play with him again,ΓÇ¥ Froling said.
ΓÇ£My sisters are playing but that wasn’t really a factor for me, I took the family side of things out of it and made a decision based on basketball.
ΓÇ£I felt really good while they were recruiting me, they respected the process and I will get the opportunity to play right away, which was important for me.ΓÇ¥

I completely forgot about Dickerson. He was a LB/Ulric recruit.

What about the 6'9 kid out of Charlotte, NC who committed to SMU last year but didn't qualify? His name escapes me.

He qualified but just was not up to speed enough to get into SMU. He then went to Iowa St and has seen some minutes this year. I believe his name is Simeon Carter.

He might have been the point man, but Larry is the magnet and the head coach.
