Unfair

I know I'm probably the 1,000th poster to say this, but it's completely unfair what the NCAA has done to you. I really think you would have taken the American all the way to the final four.

Also, look at all the trashy teams in your own state that are going to the NCAA tournament this year, while the best team sits at home:
Texas A&M
Texas
Baylor
Texas Tech

Do yall expect a better team next year? I guess I don't understand why you didn't fight it with your team for this year, and then just take the punishment next year?

All about recruiting. We took the fall this year because we had some recruits we couldn't afford to miss on. Top 25 class coming in plus Duke transfer Semi Ojeleye becomes eligible next year.

Quite possible we end up with a top 10 class here shortly

who thought all teams with chance to ncaa bids,their marquee win is SMU

if 3 or 4 of them get in because of that its not bad,hopefully they advantage and credits are not bad

Everyone would have transferred and decimated the program. No way we get Froling, Kapita, McDowell, Wilson and No. 5 with them knowing they're going into a ban the next year.

I hated it so much, but it was the only course of action. We admitted to academic fraud, we weren't going to win the appeal. It was very black and white in the rule book. Totally ridiculous and over the top punishment, and the worst part is the class wasn't even relevant in getting Keith into school (wasn't needed), but it is what it is. Time move on.
