Tulane Oct 29
Considering making a stop to see the Ponies in NOLA on our way to Orlando. Anyone been to Yulman Stadium, and any help on decent close hotels? Gracias.

You better book now. Everything good is sold out or way expensive. Halloween and VooDoo fest that weekend. I'm at Royal Sonesta.

Probably sold out but Windsor Court is easy walk to Qtr but not in Qtr so no getting disturbed at 3:30 AM. Right across from Harrah's.

There are a few on St. Charles that are good. I don't remember any on Claiborne. The stadium is small and in a very urban area. I don't think any hotels are walking distance. But if one stays along or very close toSt. Charles, they can get the streetcar and be dropped off right in front of campus. Also that streetcar goes to the part of Carrolton that has plenty of good places to eat.
Another option are bed and breakfast. Many rent properties in the area also act as bed and breakfast.

Agree with those posting about hotels filling up, either true B&B or AirBnB might be best options at this point.
You also asked about Yulman--I went to Duke-Tulane last year. It's a nice little stadium and they sell good Louisiana craft beers.

The basketball 'arena' has an amazing beer selection. Glad to hear it's probably the same at fball.

Football stadium in nice and not like the BB arena. There are some decent local pubs near TU campus but the bette stuff is further away from campus.

That has to be the most delusional statement I have ever heard.
New Orleans! Not Arkyland.

You need to come to the game cause its obvious you don't get out much.
