Definitely faster than anyone at this level of competition. Obviously slight in stature....will see how that translates to this level, I assume we are going to use him as an inside receiver or maybe return man on special teams.

Head Coach should be fired for getting him only 8 carries per game-just kiddin'-kind of. That's a lot of highlites for 8 carries a game
I too think he projects as an Inside Receiver all the way but Coaches apparently have him ticketed at RB
We'll see

Man, that kid is explosive and seems to have good vision and patience. 0-60 in three seconds type of runner. I believe he is laser certified 4.4 (Nike or Rivals camp)

I see him as an Artavis Scott/Ray Ray McCloud type from Clemson-with a little Kavonte Turpin thrown in
He did run a laser timed 4.40 and 4.42 at an East Texas combine

I saw him in person several times last 2 years. Has been hurt some. Good Back and should help. I don't believe he is as good as Chan Amie. I have seen them on the field together and Chan dominated! Although it is 3A Chan Amie was the BEAST on the field in every game. Im surprised no one has mentioned him much in practice. I think Chan starts somewhere next year!

Re: Kayce Medlock sr yr film just dropped
yeah but Chan never ran a 4.40 laser
BTW I watched Chan win Defensive MVP and then Offensive MVP in consecutive state championship games so I'm a big fan too-best athlete on both sides of the ball. He's playing DB at SMU according to the roster. I wouldn't want to bet against him though because he is one great football player. Definitely want to check him out during spring practice
I found a little blurb from the same East Texas combine from the previous year and Amie was named the Top DB prospect but ran a 4.64 laser (Medlock ran 4.60 in 2015) but very few ran faster that year on the laser used that year-like 4 or so skill position kids-
Chan Amie, 2016 safety, Waskom -- Amie (5-11, 161) has enough space on his frame to add good weight and maintain the athleticism he showed Sunday, particularly during testing, when he ran a laser-timed 4.64 40 and a 4.19 pro agility. Amie helped put his small-school program on the map in 2014 when he and recent 2015 SMU commit Kevin Johnson led Waskom to the Texas Class 3A Division II state crown. Like Johnson, Amie is a two-way standout who could receive recruiting attention on either side of the ball.

I saw both games also. And don't forget who was Offensive MVP the first year when Chan was Defensive MVP. Kevin Johnson!! Chan can surely help Sp Teams!!

yeah I was watching because of Kevin Johnson but even in 2014 when Amie was Defensive MVP I kept noticing the Amie kid-In addition to Defensive MVP he had 2 TDs including an 88 yard KO return. I actually thought he was the best overall player on the field in 2014 too-even in comparison to Kevin Johnson

Reminds me of the Turpin kid at TCU...a game breaker.

Wow. What a runner. Kind of makes you hold your breath.
