We haven't signed a qb out of high school since Hicks. Can't keep relying on the JUCO / Transfer market to fill the position.

Well, they didn't go after our individual recruits, they went after our coach, clearly intending Morris to bring every commitment with him - and they missed. So now they get a kid a position we are stacked at for the next two to three years. Fine. Not worth getting upset over.

I have SMU blinders on, but I think even non SMU people will be surprised by this. I really think he will regret this. Baylor is not in a good place right now, and it is likely to get worse. SMU is about to take off however.

I agree. We have good talent right now at the position regardless. But if we have one transfer at the position after the depth chart is set for 2017, which is very plausible, we start to get thin again. *assuming Davis doesn't get the medical redshrt* I hope Morris is able to find a under the radar 2017 kid or flip a commit because at some point we should be trying to develop another kid in the system out of HS. It's a luxury we didn't have this year after D Moore left right before NSD.
