By the way JHG: thanks for dropping in.
I've got my tickets for the Liacouras rematch in February. I try to make the trip every season absent major snow or ice storms. The Temple ticket office treats guests like royalty. They actually called me after the game two years ago to ask if I had a good time. Great venue, great program.

Spent some time with Dunphy's brother and other Dunphy family in an Annapolis bar in 2015 before the SMU-Navy game. Temple was also in town for a basketball tournament. Great people and very complementary of the SMU basketball program.

10 completed seasons at Temple, 7 NCAA Tournament appearances, 2 total Tournament wins, 0 Sweet Sixteen appearances. We don't expect national championships, but that is completely unacceptable.
Nicest guy in the world, runs a clean program, graduates players, very few players have transferred, does everything the right way, but just doesn't win when it matters. Wichita State, Dayton, San Diego State, La Salle (his alma mater), Florida Gulf Coast, Ohio U, BYU, VCU, Butler, Richmond, Saint Mary's, Northern Iowa, Cornell, Western Kentucky, Davidson, Nevada, UNLV, Southern Illinois, Bradley, George Mason, UW-Milwaukee, St. Joe's, UAB, and Kent State have all made the Sweet Sixteen more recently than us, so people can't use the 'hampered by not playing in a major conference' nonsense.
He's overall a pretty mediocre recruiter, and our assistant coaches are always patently unimpressive.
