National Championship Contender mention...
As per the announcer on CBSSports with 5 minutes left:
"I know it's an aggressive thing to say being the nations 14 ranked team...."
Color man: "but it's also accurate"
Smiled when I heard this, even though they saw a near-perfect game.
I think they can play with anyone.

I think the happiest man in the building was talking Nick Russell's ear off. He was holding court behind the basket the entire night and it was very cool to watch. I'm pretty sure he looked around Moody and knew he built this. He was proud and rightfully so. Thank you, LB.

Yeah, your eyesight is fine. I was wrong. Sterling M usually sits in that area and I thought that was him but it was Nick. Still, LB was happy.

I was so hoping that the PA guy would have thundered for everyone's attention and proclaimed we had the most special of Mustang basketball VIP''S with us tonight...and given LB his due (to a standing ovation which he deserves).

If we hit 69% from 3 and 68% from the Field I think we can take this thing!!!

I would think LB has requested no attention. At this time, let's not take anything away from what Jank is doing. We can honor LB at a later time. After all, as I mentioned before, he may be our Head Coach in waiting if Jank leaves.

Has Cinny a fourth seed and us a 6th. Not sure I would agree with that.

Less than zero percent chance of that happening.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
