Loss in the SMU family.....
Just read on smumustangs.com that the father of women's bball player Sarah Davis passed away suddenly on New Year's Day. Very sad....my prayers and condolences to her and her family

I also am keeping the Davis family in my thoughts.
(I also admit to being curious - what PR school dropout felt obligated to publicize this? Shouldn't this be a private time for her family, and if she felt the need to be with the family, couldn't they simply have said "she's leaving the team to deal with a family issue" or something? This didn't need to be publicized.)
