Good Luck the rest of the way

Post by ReedFrawg »

The game went about as I expected although I thought both teams would score about 10 points less. I couldn't believe the lack of throws to Sutton yesterday. Anyway, huge game against arky state this week...hopefully the defense can develop for you. Until that happens its going to be tough to break through to be a top 25 team. No reason you can't win a lot of games against AAC competition this year though.

Good luck the rest of the way!

Best of luck to you too. Run through B12 competition and make us look good! The gap is closing, so enjoy this while you can!

I appreciate the sentiment from Reed (and it is in the Frogs interest that we win), but I do have to ask other ponyfans - how does TCU running through the B12 schedule help us look good? We lost by 20 to a "good" team -That won't go far.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to us for TCU to lose out and go home for Christmas while SMU plays on in the postseason?

I could see TCU losing 5 of their next 7 games if they play like they did last weekend...

I would rather have TCU finish at the bottom of the B12 while we go bowling and have it help our recruiting efforts.

I don't give a [Deleted] about TCU, hope they lose them all. Oh, that also goes for UT, Baylor, TTU, Houston.

With ReedFrog being the exception, of course.

Reed is a good dude - but I really wish nothing but ill will on any TCU football results, short of injury of course.

His summary is about right. I do think at Ford with a healthy Gillen and a bigger O line and we will have our win very soon. So yes - the proverbial next year.

Thanks guys...I would be a little disappointed if you pulled for TCU to win out! Of course I hope you can find it in your hearts to pull for us against Baylor at a minimum.

We certainly have our hands full this week. I agree with others that the SMU vs ark state game is big. Could be the kickstart to a very good season. Also, FWIW I thought Hicks played ok...made some really nice throws and was elusive at times. The defense was/is not good enough yet.

RF is a good dude and a bigger supporter of PF than most of the current members. Good luck and see ya next year in Ford.

I am rooting for Baylor to go 0-11 and then somehow produce a win against TCU in their final game, knocking the Frogs out of a Bowl :-)

This should sound familiar to RF - I think he was a participant in a game like that once...

(we really do appreciate your take on SMU though - always good to get the other perspective around here!)

Yes, I agree, RF is a good dude. And, yes, I hope TCU just out right embrassess the hell out of BU.
