If we are in the Top 25 when March rolls around, we better be rewarded with a decent seed, 5 or lower. I'd love a 4. This team needs to get past that pesky 1st round. That should be one of the team goals this upcoming season as the growing process hopefully continues. I'm tired of March sadness. It's time to take that next step.

Agreed. But I also did not think last years team was a top 25, or even near it, through the first 3 games either. That tourney next week going to be rough.

We aren't a Top 40 team right now. Maybe not Top 50. Just relax and watch them develop. We'll have nice rotation when Akoy and MacMurray arrive if Chargois is for real. Still some time for Douglas to show what he can do. Not to mention deadly sharp-shooter Ben Emelogu. We need to peak in March

Take a look at the new ESPN Top 25 AP Poll out, we got 4 votes in also receiving. We are right there at the Top 25, just need to continue winning and the rest will take care of itself.

We need to win our next two games (Ark PB and N. Iowa) and then knock off a Top 25 in the Bahamas or USC at home to be a solid top 25 vote getter.

We also need Akoy to be available for those games in Bahamas.

That N Iowa game is massive. Win that and you get two of Arizona, Villanova and Purdue. Even losing those games will help tremendously come March. Lose to N Iowa and the teams we play in Bahamas don't help our strength of schedule anywhere near as much, even if we beat them.

ESPN Power rankings thinks the other wise. It said something like 60+% win chance.

SC plays @Vandy and hosts A&M before playing SMU. Hopefully they win those games and keep their high ranking.

I think the SC game will have Moody Rockin' at levels reserved for UCONN, CIN, etc. It might end up being the most intimidating crowd that any of those USC players have played in front of since they lost to underdog Arizona State in Tempe last year ... you never know. Hope the students get creative.

We're not top 50? Of course we are. Will we ever get ranked in the top 25 this year? Maybe not, our SoS will be much higher than last year. I think we lose to USC also but . . . . Moody.
