This game should show that SMU can compete with anyone in the country. Arizona was so tall and athletic, but we had a plan to take them down.

Remember this time last year, we entered our dark days, losses to USC and Boise St. followed by an ugly UGLY! win against Cal St. Bakersfield, a game that finished with both teams around the 40 point mark.

Then SMU went something like 23-1 after that.

This team looks good. We are ahead of the curve from last year. Hell, lets go out and repeat as conference champs. When you beat those beasts that Arizona threw at us, we can take anyone down!

Really good execution using small ball to pull UA big guys out. So glad he is SMU coach. We spent some time before a football game with him and he seems to love the area and the school.
